The new iPhone from Apple, what do you think of it?
iPhone 5 with a new design and higher specs, still with the same width but taller a bit. What’s different from the old generation and this one? Not much really processor, designer, memory, camera and other parts of the iPhone. Keeping this short and simple to read.
Review
Design
Very sleek and stylish. I like the back cover of the iPhone 5, I went for the black as I’m not keen with white colour phones. (They get dirty easily)
Size and Weight
Fits perfectly in my hand. More lighter than the previous iPhones.
Specs
I do notice the speed and the quickness of multitasking. Heard articles that this beast contain triple core graphics which is great for our gamers out there. I was hoping to see Quad Core built-in, maybe the next generation will have it. The memory is still reasonable with 1 gig, would love to see 2 gig next year.
Price
Starting from £529 for 16GB, expensive than before. I weren’t expected to see this phone would cost at least £529 on the market. It is best to get hold of these iPhone 5 on contract with EE, O2, 3, Vodafone etc.
OS Features
iOS6 has over 200 new features available on many iDevices. One thing I like about the update is the AppStore, you do not need to go back to the home screen for each time you download/update an app. Siri has been updated to understand in many languages which include Chinese, Japanese, Spanish etc.
Apple has got rid of Google Maps so they have develop a map app for their iDevices. To be honest I still prefer the Google Maps, Apple map is very outdated. (Need to get their heads down and work hard)
Issues
So far I have problems in connecting my iPhone to my wifi network, it’s either connected for 30 minutes or disconnection every 10 minutes. (Depend on my luck really). Apple is currently fixing this issue.
Recommendation
I do recommend this iPhone 5 if you haven’t got one now, best phone in the world. You cannot beat Apple products for sure. iPhone 5 is simple, easy and helpful. You won’t be disappointed after buying this iPhone 5. 10/10

Description
Who’d a thought robbing the bank would be the easy part? Now comes the real challenge – to escape with your hard-earned loot having the fuzz hot at your heels!
Weave in and out of oncoming traffic; dodge, outrun or ram pursuing police cars and just generally crash, smash and thrash your way through 16 varied levels.
Let’s face it: beating someone across the finishing line is a lot of fun, but not nearly as much fun as tackling them into oncoming traffic to watch chaos ensue. The Developers behind Reckless Racing now brings you Reckless Getaway!

Whenever there is a word ‘Reckless’ in the game I’m sure the game will be super fun to play. After 10 minutes of madness driving and hitting into cars, I think I have found an addictive game to recommend. You can either be a car or a truck, try and bash as many cars to gain star points.
Top notch to the developer of this game, great graphics and it’s very addictive. If you are a racing fan, car fan, or anything to do with transport this game is a must. Highly Recommended!
Note: There is a little glitch within the game, it crashed on many levels. I had to restart the game many times.
Had to get one since my iPhone 4 is acting up, the home button is kinda screwed; I had to press multiple times to get into the multitasking menu and 3 times to get back to the home screen.
Plus I do not have any issues with the battery it works perfectly fine, tried leaving it for a day and only 3% drop. Not bad eh? I even turned on the wifi and bluetooth, will do further tests soon.

This game is quite challenging, similar to Cut the Rope game. Basically you release the water into the bowl making the full 100%, if not the game will auto restart. Also you got to touch the apples to gain bonus points within the game. If you are a fan of puzzle games then this game is a must. Completing this game is hard but if you have the skills it should be easy. I will leave an update in the near future if I do complete it. 69p for this game is well worth it, so what are you waiting for? Start downloading via iTunes! 8/10
Finally, Apple has announced the next generation of the iPhone and guess what? It is not the iPhone 5, it’s an iPhone 4S, exactly same design on the outside but different for the inside. They have managed to use the same processor as the iPad 2, upgraded the camera and added extra few bits and bobs to the phone.
I am very disappointed with Apple, I was expecting an iPhone 5 this year as my contract is up for a renewal in January. Planned to have a nice fresh iPhone, but since it’s a similar design and upgraded performance I wouldn’t bother upgrading it or even buy it. The only thing that attract me is the iOS5, which consists over 200 features and I love that Siri feature. I would love to talk to my iPhone and ask random questions
So is it worth to buy the iPhone 4S?
Apparently the iPhone 4S will cost you at least £499 for 16GB. Alternative you can purchase the iPhone 4 from £429. If you really want a high performance dual core processor phone, then go with iPhone 4S. I would personally go with iPhone 4.
Shall I wait for the next generation?
It is up to you. I currently have an iPhone 4 and I’m happy with my iPhone. iOS5 surely will go smoothly without any issues, regardless if I had that iPhone 4S. But if you have the iPhone 4, it is worth a wait for the iPhone 5 to be release next year.
Remember iPhone 4S is very similar to the iPhone 4, just the processor, camera, battery and wireless are different.
I have been waiting for this for a long time, ever since I placed an order on Apple store on the 22nd of June I have been waiting days and weeks for this to arrive in the post. I also ordered a blue smart cover to go along with the iPad 2. Will be using it later today and installing my favourite games Asphalt6
- Triple or Quad Core Chip
- Great for games and application which uses a lot of memory and cpu usage.
- Greater Flash Memory
- 64GB is not enough for our gamers, especially you have games range 400-600MB. Plus music, videos and photos an estimate of 10GB or more. I would really love to see 128GB.
- USB Port/Card Slot
- I was hoping to see a USB port for the iPad 2. Hopefully they will consider adding one for the next generation.
- Longer Battery Life
- Battery goes flat after a few hours on action games, hoping to see longer battery life.
Yes! Apple will be releasing the iPad 2 on March 11th 2011. Not long now for the Americans to grab their precious Apple device. So the iPad 2 has the dual core A5 chip, faster graphics card, HDMI supported, Facetime and cameras. But still we have the 10 hour battery life, was hoping for more. Especially when playing game they run out so fast, after an hour or two on Need for Speed the battery goes down from 100% to 45%.
