Today I received a SMS from Carphone Warehouse saying my parcel will be delivered today from 7am-9pm, if not a card will be issued. Additionally they also left me a contact number if I need to contact the driver. So I did call up, and a woman picked up the phone and she told me there is no parcel on her van. I was like “hang on a minute, this can’t be true.” so she advised me to contact Yodel. I called and emailed, yet to receive a response from them. I waited and waited until 4pm as I had to work in the evening so I expect a card to be left at my house.

At 10.30pm I reached home and I could not see anything, no card no note nothing. Checked the status via Yodel “Consignee Cannot Be Reached”, I was in shocked. How on earth they cannot locate my house? I had past deliveries by Yodel before and they can easily find my place without any problems.

I knew this will happen today as Yodel is the crappest delivery courier in the UK, even Hermes is better (that’s what I think). Former company HDNL I also had bad experiences with them, but this time is the worst. Cannot find my house, it’s a joke.

I have sent an email to Carphone Warehouse and see whether my order did or did not dispatched from their warehouse and where is my freaking iPhone.

    Yodel are in deed the worst courier company in the UK.
    I was expecting a delivery on Friday 2′nd December. Tracking confirmed it was on the van and out for delivery. I stayed in all day and no sign of Yodel. On Saturday I rang and rang and rang their telephone number. I never got an answer. I emailed them. so far, no answer. I notice that very early this morning the Tracking status has changed to say that nobody was in to receive the parcel so a card was left.
    I and other family members were in all day and no card was left. They are liars!
    For whatever reason, the driver just couldn’t be bothered. I expect he or she wanted to finish early as it was Friday.

    I will never purchase anything from any company that uses yodel as the courier.
    This is not the first time I have had a problem with yodel, but it will definitely be the last time.

    Same to me. “Consignee Cannot Be Reached”, no answers at all, no card, useless shit.

    Same thing for me with Yodel. Not only a useless delivery company but happy to lie as well. Dreadful and I would encourage anyone to avoid using them.

    Same problem, I was keeping an eye on yodel website from work and noticed the ‘consignee cannot be reached’ and I was and am still at work. am currently holding to be connected and it is only 15.50 PM!

    Apparently our house doesn’t exist. It can be found on Google maps, the Post Office and other delivery companies find it. Even friends and family are able to find us.

    Yodel insists that there is no such address, despite it being near the town centre near a main road.

    Yodel are a joke, A truly laughable company. My partner ordered a samsung galaxy note from CPWH on Friday for delivery on Monday morning, As you may guess the delivery did not arrive. We phoned yodel about 5pm asking what time the delivery would be and the said ” The delivery driver is running late it could be up to 9pm” Tuesday come and still no phone. After another phone call to yodel we were told “Sorry the driver could not deliver yesterday, It has been loaded onto a van today…” so 5pm the same day we phoned Yodel and CPWH. Tuesday night about 7pm the tracking on yodels website said delivered. We had both been in for 2 days there was not a delivery made. so currently CPWH is investigating this and will get back to us.

    If you have the choice steer well clear of yodel.
