I ordered this item from Ballicom International yesterday and received it this morning, highly satisfied with their delivery service. I love this device so much, I have been searching for it a long time. As I frequently download large files from the Internet, I use this for swapping drives from PC to PC.
Installation took less than 5 minutes, connect to PC and you’re ready to go. There are 4 fan modes, LEDs for each hard drive bay. It’s a great multibay hard drive enclosure. Definitely will purchase another one very soon.
Currently I have 2 drives mounted in there, Seagate Barracuda 1TB and Western Digital 640GB. It’s a lovely piece of gadget.
Today is the day, the iPhone 4 has released to UK and other countries as well. Hundreds or thousands of people queueing up for the latest smartphone, iPhone 4. Too bad I won’t be getting one as I have heard there are problems with the reception if holding the phone with your whole hand. Meaning the placing your iPhone on your palm, and your hand wrapping the iPhone itself. I have seen many videos on YouTube, some people say it is the hardware issue and software issue. I haven’t managed to get my hands on the iPhone 4 yet, so I don’t know what is the exact problem is. As far as I know I think it will be the hardware that is built inside. If a number of people have the same issue, it wouldn’t be the software at all. That’s how I think about the iPhone 4. For now I will keep holding my iPhone 3GS until Apple has a solution to the problem I will get mine and post a review about it.
iOS4 was release a few days ago, I updated my iPod Touch 3G once it was released an hour later. Took about 30 minutes to download the software, 15 minutes to downloading iTunes v9.2 + QuickTime. A total of 45 minutes, still it is worth waiting for the OS. But before I go and install the update, I had to restore the iPod Touch since it was jailbroken by SpiritJB. No choice la, need to restore if not it will screw up my iPod Touch. Restoring the iPod Touch took me another 20 minutes or so. I wasted an hour just to restore and update my iPod Touch to the latest firmware. Finally I have installed the latest firmware on my iPod Touch, the interface looks nice. The features on them are very good indeed, some aren’t that good such as the limitations on the categories. Every category I created, drag and drop the app into the category. It is only limited to 12 apps per category which I do not think it’s good for the iPhone users who have more than 20 or more game apps. Such as myself I have over 100 game apps, having that much I would need to create 8 categories. Hopefully Apple will give us a better solution for the next update. I haven’t gone much into the iOS4 yet but I will definitely post some more news about it, maybe around next week or so.
Tomorrow I will be sending a parcel to my mrs, an iPad which she has been waiting for it a long time. The parcel will be sent via DHL, and I think she’ll receive it on Monday plus the iPad Case which I ordered online a week ago. Should be delivered by Tuesday or so if not I will be tracing that company.
More updates coming soon, regarding to the iPhone 4 and iOS4.
If you can see your webcam on some applications but can’t in Windows Live Messenger, it’s probably just set to the wrong device. Go to the main Messenger window and click Tools >> Audio and Video Setup, then Next. Choose the Default setting and it should work.

It has been over 14 days since I had my lovely iPad, in a nice Apple Case which cost £30 what a rip off. Anyway over the past days I brought another iPad for my mrs, hopefully I’ll get it by this week or next. Combining her iPad and other things which I brought, and send it to her via DHL. A great delivery courier, always on time, fantastic customer service and reasonable shipping fees.
Today I have been following the WWDC 2010 on a news website, checking out when the iPhone 4 will be released. It shows that they will be releasing on the 24th of June, this month
But we can preorder the phone next week, oh yes. A very good time for me to upgrade my existing 3rd to 4th Gen, and O2 my mobile provider told me I am in the Gold Priority which means I get a 3 month early upgrade. Totally sweet. I have been waiting for this a long time, since I brought my 3rd Gen. Keeps crashing even I jailbroke the device. Giving me problems so then I decided to get a 3Gs..ahh..less problems but iPhone 4 comes in a month or two. Who cares, I can sell/recycle my 3G and give my existing phone to my sister. And I will be using the brand new iPhone 4
